2019 Chevy Colorado Diesel exterior is looking brilliant
The exterior of the all-new 2019 Chevy Colorado Diesel will keep its shape and dimensions. However, while the latest upgrades aren’t that significant, some of them are visible. For the start, plenty of styling cues are taken from the Silverado 1500 model. That includes the same headlights, front grille, and bumpers.
The same design continues at the back with the rear bumper and taillights. Reshaped character lines are looking brilliant and the corner step is now a standard feature. Sunroof will stay optional and Chevrolet will introduce new exterior colors. Those colors are Satin Steel Metallic and Centennial Blue.

The interior design will remain, and the only changes are happening in the technology section. The upcoming 2019 Chevy Colorado Diesel now offers the latest infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moreover, the new touchscreen is available and the cabin will get more upscale materials. The rest of the interior will stay intact.
However, there is no need for further upgrades as the comfort is great, just like the interior room. Legroom is ample and the safety rating is among the best-in-class. Rearview camera is on the list of standard equipment and the forward collision alert and lane departure warning will be optional.
2019 Chevy Colorado Diesel engine
The base engine is still a 3.6-liter V6 that delivers 308 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. However, the diesel engine will finally make the production. It is a 2.8-liter Duramax engine. This turbodiesel unit with four cylinders is producing 181 horses and 369 lb-ft of torque.
A 6-speed automatic transmission is available, along with the standard rear-wheel-drive setup. An all-wheel-drive configuration is optional, just like on the current model. Fuel economy is rated at 20 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. It is yet unknown if the 2.5-liter four-cylinder powertrain will make a production this time. This engine returns 200 HP and 191 lb-ft of twists. Some experts are claiming that there is no need for this engine at this moment.

Increased number of torque will help the 2019 Chevy Colorado Diesel in off-roading and will additionally raise the tow rating. This pickup can now tow up to 7,700 pounds.

The base model starts at $21,500. As we wrote, the 2019 Chevy Colorado Diesel will cost more, but not significantly more.
The diesel version will cost around $25,000. Of course, this is the price for the base model and the higher trim levels will cost up to $40,000. The sale of the Colorado Diesel will start at the beginning of 2019.
