After the confirmation of Chevy Colorado ZR2, American carmaker confirmed new performance variant. The 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison is coming this January and it brings more off-road equipment. On top of that, this mid-size pickup truck will offer an optional snorkel intake and plenty of other systems.
In collaboration with the American Expedition Vehicles, Chevy was eager to deliver already-capable ZR more gear and all the innovations are generally mechanical. This co-operation improved the overall pickup’s functionality, and that includes the interior and the performance.

Under the bonnet, the 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison offers two powertrain options. Moreover, the standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 that is capable of producing 306 horses and 275 lb-ft of torque. The optional engine is a 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel four-cylinder unit. It can generate up to 186 HP and 369 lb-ft of torque. The V6 engine comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the 6-speed automatic gearbox is standard on the diesel variant.

2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison price and release date
The sale of the all-new 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison will start in January 2019. However, this off-road monster is under limited warranty for now. The price will start at around $43,500 and there won’t be much optional gear so the price will stay below $50,000 for sure.
Furthermore, the price is between the prices of the Ford Raptor and Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. It will be interesting to see the rivalry between those three astonishing pickups.
