2020 Chevy Silverado 2500HD High Country Engine
According to the latest news, the upcoming 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500HD High Country pickup will get a new gasoline engine. It is all-injection gasoline that comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Unfortunately, engine specs are not available yet. We can expect more details closer to the release date. On the other hand, a 6.6-liter V8 Duramax is still in the offer.
The optional turbodiesel engine produces 445 HP and 910 lb-ft of torque. This unit is available with Alisson’s 10-speed automatic transmission. Towing capacity is great so the race between Ford, Ram and Chevrolet continue. The dynamic fuel management system is standard on the diesel powertrain.
Price and Release Date
The all-new heavy-duty pickup will arrive this fall. The Chevy Silverado 2500HD High Country will cost between $55,000 and $60,000. Just to compare, the base model costs slightly above $35,000. Chevrolet will introduce more details closer to the release date.
