The all-new 2020 Ford F-350 was caught testing in Michigan. Even under a full camouflage, the heavy-duty pickup truck is showing us its latest changes and upgrades. The spy shots are showing an updated exterior design that looks more modern than before.
The 2020 Ford F-350 will suffer a redesign up front and the rear end now looks closer to the light-duty F-150 pickup. However, that is not everything. This heavy-duty beast comes with an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission and the new engine. From the inside, further refinements will happen and safety will be better than ever before.
2020 Ford F-350 Redesign
The upcoming 2020 Ford F-350 is looking refreshed, according to the newest spy photos. Both ends will suffer a redesign. Up front, a new sculpted grille is visible, even under a heavy camo.
The grille is also sporting a large Ford’s logo in the middle. The headlights will also suffer a redesign. In the back, F-350 will now offer a rear end similar to the F-150 pickup truck. The taillights are the same, along with the new tailgate latch. The result is a very modern-looking heavy-duty pickup truck. This model will retain its shape and its dimensions.
2020 Ford F-350 Interior To Be Similar To The Light-Duty F-150 Pickup
Some of the interior details are not available yet. However, we expect the same cabin design with slight refreshments. As you can see, spy shots are showing us only exterior details. However, reliable sources are saying the 2020 Ford F-350 will offer an interior similar to the light-duty F-150 pickup.
It is the standard procedure for most of the carmakers and Ford is no different. The SYNC3 system is getting an update and we can expect some new interior features and further refinements. Comfort is great and the cloth upholstery is standard once again. The biggest addition will be a significant improvement in safety rating.
2020 Ford F-350 Powertrain
According to the latest information, Blue Oval will replace the aging 6.8-liter Triton V10 with a new engine. A 7.0-liter V8 that comes with a new 10-speed automatic transmission will be standard from now on. The current Triton V10 is producing 385 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque so we can expect the new V8 will deliver more power and better fuel efficiency. However, exact engine figures are not available yet.
The 2020 Ford F-350 will also offer a diesel powertrain, a 6.7-liter PowerStroke V8. The turbodiesel engine returns 440 horses and 925 lb-ft of torque.
Ford is saying this unit will get a slight revise which should improve the overall efficiency. Current diesel output can tow up to 21,000 pounds.

The 2020 Ford F-350 will arrive in numerous trim levels. The base XL model will start at $35,000 and XLT models will cost around $40,000. XLT model offers more standard equipment for an affordable price so we suggest skipping the base XL model.
