Under the bonnet, the new 2021 Ford F-350 will use a new 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine. This unit comes with a new 10-speed automatic transmission and it replaces a 6.8-liter V10 Triton engine. According to Blue Oval, this is the most powerful gasoline engine in the segment. As for the diesel, a 6.7-liter is available.
Turbodiesel unit delivers 450 hp and 935 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to such strong torque figures, diesel version can tow up to 21,000 pounds. As you can see, Ford did improve every category, from aesthetics to better comfort and stronger performances.
2021 Ford F-350 Price and Release Date
The forthcoming 2021 Ford F-350 will cost more than its predecessor. However, the price won’t be significantly increased. New F-350 will cost around $35,000 in its base trim level.
You can expect for King Ranch trim level to be in the offer, and a hybrid variant is still just a rumor. New Blue Oval’s heavy-duty model will go on sale in the second half of 2020.
