Engine and Towing Capacity
Even before the official information, it all comes down to a 3.6-liter V6. This engine powers so many Jeep’s models, especially SUVs. Clearly, Jeep likes to relay on this proven unit. Powerful V6 will be a standard choice and it will deliver 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Also, a 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine will be in the offer.
Diesel will be optional and it will produce 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The new Jeep Gladiator JT Pickup can tow up to 7,680 pounds. When it comes to gearbox options, Gladiator offers a 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic transmission.
Cost and Productions
The new Gladiator comes in four trim levels. The base model will cost slightly over $34,000. Sport S will cost around $40,000 and Overland $45,000. Range-topping Rubicon model will start over $50,000. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT Pickup will go on sale this summer.
