Jeep will finally introduce its new Gladiator pickup truck. It is a long-anticipated model and this pickup will introduce one very interesting trim level. Logically, Hercules will have to deliver more than Gladiator’s standard 285 horses and 260 lb-ft of torque. The upcoming Gladiator Hercules will look very aggressive and mean. Interior will be surprisingly comfortable and modern.
2021 Jeep Gladiator Hercules Looks Really Unique
Gladiator pickup is basically a pickup that looks like the Jeep Wrangler SUV. The goal is to deliver a Wrangler-like pickup truck, and Gladiator will look exactly like that. However, the 2021 Jeep Gladiator Hercules will look more aggressive. Imagine a Wrangler model in a Rubicon variant.
Gladiator Hercules comes with a mean stance and a very aggressive look. Larger tires, blacked-out seven-slot grille, and angular headlamps are visible at first glance. Higher ground clearance clearly suggests an off-road type of vehicle. Hercules will be a four-door pickup truck with plenty of body-colored features. The design looks really unique and distinctive. The buyers can choose colors like Silver, Yellow, Green.
Interior Comfort Will Be Similar To The Wrangler SUV
The 2021 Jeep Gladiator Hercules will offer a surprisingly comfortable and modern cabin. However, most of the interior details are not available. Comfort will be similar to the comfort inside the Wrangler SUV. A four-door configuration means easy access to the vehicle. Hercules will offer only one-bed option and it is a five-foot-long bed. A 7.0-inch display comes as standard while the 8-inch unit is optional.
Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and dual-zone climate control are all available as standard. On the other hand, heated seats and steering wheel are optional. Jeep will introduce a Trail Rail cargo management system. It is another optional system that will additionally improve the tow rating. The safety rating is truly impressive thanks to the Jeep’s Active Safety Group.
2021 Jeep Gladiator Hercules Powertrain Options
When it arrives, the 2021 Jeep Gladiator Hercules will have to outperform the base Gladiator model. The base model comes with a standard 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar engine that delivers 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. For that reason, Hercules will get a more powerful engine. On the other hand, Hercules needs to be a competitive pickup truck. Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is one of the most reliable all-terrain pickups in the market.
Furthermore, Chevy Colorado ZR2 and Ram 1500 Rebel TRX are another rivals Jeep has to beat. Finally, Ford F-150 Raptor is another great competitor. Jeep will have to provide enough powerful engine to be in this competition. Interestingly, at the same time, Ram will offer the most powerful model in the segment. It is Ram Rebel TRX that will deliver around 700 horsepower. Jeep will hardly beat those figures in the first year of production.
