Optionally, you can opt for a 2.5-liter four-cylinder SkyActiv that is producing 184 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of twists. A 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions are in the offer. Moreover, a front-wheel-drive setup is standard. Of course, you can load the optional all-wheel-drive configuration.

As this pickup is based on the Isuzu D-Max, some sources are claiming that the BT-50 pickup truck could borrow an engine from its sibling. If that happens, a 3.0-liter diesel will come as the standard engine. This unit is capable of producing 180 HP and 330 lb-ft of torque.

The price of the all-new 2019 Mazda BT-50 starts at $30,000. It is a slight price increase as the 2019 model represents the start of a new generation. The Mazda’s latest pickup truck will arrive next summer and will look to rival Nissan Navara, VW Amarok, and Toyota Hilux.
