The all-new 2019 Mitsubishi Triton will arrive next month. To be more precise, this pickup truck will make a global debut on November 9. New updates are visible and Triton will draw inspiration from the Pajero Sport model, mostly at the front. Moreover, the company’s “Dynamic Shield” design language is present as well. The rest of the upgrades will include interior refinement and slightly retuned diesel powertrain.
Triton now rides on its fifth-generation and it is available in three body styles. Moreover, three powertrains are available, among them, two diesel choices. Pickup Truck also offers astonishing tow rating, good fuel economy figures and overall, great performances.
2019 Mitsubishi Triton design is similar to the Pajero Sport model
Mitsubishi released a teaser image a couple of months ago where we saw Triton’s updates. As mentioned, the 2019 Mitsubishi Triton will draw some cues from the Pajero Sport model. That includes the front end with slimmer LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. The rest of the body will apply Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield design language.
That includes a more modern design, with slightly more aggressive lines and curves. However, most of the feature will remain, which includes the wheels and tailgate. Triton will also wear more lightweight materials in a combination with the high strength steel. The aerodynamics are superb as well, so the fuel economy number will see some increase for sure.
2019 Mitsubishi Triton interior is modern
We must say the interior of the 2019 Mitsubishi Triton is looking brilliant. The cabin looks so modern and subtle for such an aggressive pickup truck. Unfortunately, the changes are minor and the interior will get only small refinement. However, this makes perfect sense as the last year’s model got significant upgrades.
The dash will get a slight revise and some optional features will be standard now. Besides that, everything else will remain intact. The comfort is great thanks to the upscale upholstery and the cabin is very modern. Plenty of standard equipment makes Triton one of the best-equipped models in the segment.
