The all-new 2021 Nissan Titan is about to get mid-cycle refreshments. The new model will hit the American soil in the second half of 2020. Titan will be a manufacturer in Mississippi. On top of that, Nissan Titan XD is in the works as well. This pickup will keep its V8 Cummins turbodiesel powertrain. On top of that, the F-Alpha platform will remain as well.
The 2021 Titan will get numerous visual changes and interior updates. The base model could get a new V6 engine. After the months of speculations, this engine is certain to happen in the future. Overall, Titan will arrive as a refreshed model will improved performances.
2021 Nissan Titan Facelift
When it comes to exterior design, new Titan will get plenty of improvements. However, the speculated redesign won’t happen yet. Knowing that the 2021 Nissan Titan will get a couple of mid-cycle refreshments. Whatsoever, this pickup will continue to ride on the F-Alpha architecture. The half-ton pickup truck will get new front fascia.
The grille and headlights are reshaped and enlarged. Moreover, to the sides, six-spoke wheels will remain. However, Nissan will now offer new all-terrain tires. Titan is still available in King Cab body style. On top of that, numerous trim levels will provide plenty of customization. In the back, Titan will get the bolder bumper and cleaner taillights.
The cabin will also look modernized and more upscale than ever before. The upcoming 2021 Nissan Titan will introduce plenty of tech updates for the start. The infotainment system is basically all-new and it comes with a 7-inch display. New interface and quick response will surely satisfy the customers. Moreover, the center stack will also get small modifications in terms of layout.
Comfort is on a high level for a pickup truck. The interior room remains generous and there will be room for five persons. Cloth upholstery is in the offer as standard while the base model offers optional leather. The same leather upholstery is standard on higher trim levels. Nissan will provide more shiny chrome trims and safety will get numerous new systems. As a result, new Titan will be one of the safest models in its segment.
2021 Nissan Titan Drivetrain Specs and Towing Rate
Powertrain details are not confirmed yet. However, it seems like the 2021 Nissan Titan will get the new standard 3.7-liter V6 engine. This engine comes with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The goal is for Nissan to lower the starting price and this engine is a perfect start. However, we still don’t know exact engine specs.
A 5.6-liter V8 will be standard on the upper trim levels. It produces 390 HP and 395 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, Titan equipped with V8 unit can tow up to 10,000 pounds. Speaking of towing, diesel powertrain is available as well. On the other hand, diesel is offered on Nissan Titan XD variant. It is a 5.0-liter V8 that delivers 310 horsepower and up to 555 lb-ft of torque.
Price and Release Date
The price of the upcoming 2021 Nissan Titan will start higher than before. The base model will cost around $31,000 and the range-topping Platinum Reserve model around $60,000. You can buy new Titan in a Crew Cab 4×4 variant, which is the most expensive option.
As we mentioned, the Titan XD model will also arrive and it will become available for $65,000. The new model is currently under production in Mississippi and it will arrive in the second half of 2020.
