The upcoming 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport has been spied a couple of days ago. A new pickup truck comes with a Quad Cab, according to the prototype we saw. New Ram 1500 will adopt a couple of features taken from the heavy-duty lineup. In the last couple of years, we had an opportunity to see the rise of the heavy-duty trucks in terms of technology.
Now, its time to deliver useful equipment to the light-duty pickup trucks. Spy shots are showing various upgrades, including the interior and exterior changes. However, new equipment seems to be the highlight of the new model. Laramie Sport trim level offers a lot of standard features, and this will only improve in the future.
2021 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport Offers More Equipment
The 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport is getting further upgrades. Laramie Sport is closer to the range-topping trim than the base version of the famous pickup. For that reason, it offers more equipment and more standard amenities. The new model has been spied recently in a Quad Cab configuration. It is a 4×4 prototype with heavy camouflage. However, some novelties are easy to spot. As we said, Ram 1500 Laramie Sport will gain new features taken from the heavy-duty model such as Ram 3500. That includes new towing mirrors with cameras.
The cameras are a part of the 360-degree system. On the other hand, the Surround-View Camera system is a part of the Advanced Safety Group. Interestingly, but the same mirrors are spotted on the new Ram 1500 Rebel TRX prototype. Another novelty is the bed-view camera mounted on the LED brake light. Ram likes to call it the Center High-Mount Stop Lamp with Cargo View Camera.
Besides new features from the heavy-duty trucks, the new 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport will improve in some other categories. From now on, this trim level will ride on 20-inch wheels, and it will look more upright. An 8.4-inch touchscreen is standard, along with the 12-way power front seats. Leather upholstery is also available, and a new ventilating system has been installed too.
Ram offers a lot of packages and even more driver-assistance aids. That includes systems such as lane-keeping assist and forward-collision warning. We’d like to recommend the Snow Plow Prep Package that costs only $200.
2021 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport Engine Specs

It is a 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel that returns 260 horses and 440 lb-ft of torque. All three powertrain options are offering an eight-speed automatic transmission. The rear-wheel-drive system is standard again, and hybrid powertrain is still not official yet.
