The upcoming 2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition is once again available. Night Edition was the leading change for the 2020 model, and Ram opted to offer it for the second year in the row. This edition is available in Big Horn and Laramie trim levels. The manufacturer will offer unique exterior colors and further visual upgrades.
Moreover, Night Edition also adds various driver-assistance features. That means this isn’t another blacked-out add-on, but it also improves different areas of the truck. For 2021, Ram will also add a Limited Night Edition package. As its name suggests, it is a high-end variant available in the Limited trim level.
2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition Design
Available on the Ram Big Horn and Laramie trim levels, the new 2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition pickup truck looks astonishing. It adds a black grille, unique badging, and very stylish wheels. 20-inch wheels are offered on Big Horn, and 22-inch rims are available on the Laramie trim level. Besides that, Night Edition comes with new exhaust tips and dark bezels for the headlights and taillights. Ram will offer Bright Wight color on the Big Horn and Ivory White on the Laramie variant.
The list goes one with the Billet Silver, Granite Crystal, Flame Red, and Diamond Black exterior paints. The changes are minor, but Ram 1500 Night Edition looks distinctive and definitely more attractive than the regular Ram 1500 pickup truck.
As we said, the 2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition isn’t just a model that adds blacked-out features. Instead, this edition will add various high-tech amenities. That includes various driver-assistance aids such as adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and automatic high-beam headlights. The Night Edition will offer an 8.4-inch touchscreen as standard, while the 12.0-inch display will be optional.
As for the cabin design, this version comes with more premium materials, more upscale finishes, black seats, and black interior accents. The Comfort package will be optional, and it will add features like wireless charging and a 12-way power driver’s seat.
2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition Engine
The forthcoming 2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition will use a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine. As you know, Night Edition is available on Laramie, and Big Horn trims levels, and Ram will also offer the eTorque mild-hybrid system.
Thanks to that, this model will get an extra 130 lb-ft of torque, and it will tow up to 12,750 pounds. Regular Hemi V8 is capable of producing 395 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. Besides extra torque, Ram 1500 Night Edition will get drastically improved fuel efficiency.
Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition
One of the biggest additions for the 1500 pickup in 2021 will be the Limited Night Edition. This is a high-end version available on the Limited trim level exclusively. That means the Ram 1500 Night Edition will now get a more premium variant. On Limited trim, Night Edition includes even more premium upgrades, including the 22-inch gloss black aluminum wheels. Ram will deliver a sporty hood design, body-colored door handles, premium sound system, and black dual exhaust tips.
